its been a while since i put up a post on me...and i guess now is as good a time as any. I apologize firstly for my photos. the lens to my camera gets cloudy at times and I'm not sure why it does that. It's really time for a me to get a new camera.
Today was a really casual day. I just ran a million errands around the city. The weather has been really nice lately...spring is definitely approaching. I love this peach ruffled cropped cardigan. its so girly without being over the top.

lastly...i am officially obsessed with jumpers. the fact that i can just throw them on and BAM!...instant outfit. lol. no thought necessary. not to mention the fact that they are ridiculously comfortable!

Despite what many people think, i think this video is FIERCE. the dark subject contrasted with the obnoxiously bright color scheme is sheer genious. B&G...a match made in Heaven.
Most people know him as the guy who sings the song from the Debeers - A Diamond is Forever Commercial; Or maybe they know him from his first acting gig as Ellen Page's love interest in Whip It!; but I discovered Landon Pigg about 4 years ago...and I'm amazed at how many people still don't know he exists. Landon is one of my FAVORITE artists. His first Album, LP, was on seriously heavy rotation on my iPod during my freshman year. His latest album, The Boy Who Never, is full of incredibly melodic and profoundly written songs. He is so lyrically talented, not to mention he plays the majority of the instruments you hear on his songs.
The sun has returned...and my closet is very happy about it.
i was feeling really monochromatic. i love the gray, black and white together. I love the net top to this otherwise ordinary dolman shirt. (P.S. its a size 8...i wear a size 18...you never know how it'll fit till you try it on!). Not to mention these are the coolest tights i own. The gray fishnet/lace pattern is so fly. you know you want them.
and I'm so glad i finally got my hands on some purple/pink lipstick. I've wanted some forever.

It has been POURING lately. But i actually like the rain. LA is gorgeous when all the smog gets washed away. I had to run around town today... but i don't let the rain effect my style. No big nasty coats here!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this knit blazer from ASOS. The Pound/Dollar exchange rate is evil, but its worth it to get quality clothes that not every one else has.

I went to this AMAZING open mic night last night, and the most memorable performance came from this incredible band Petree. Named for its lead singer, Stephen Petree (formally of Shiny Toy Guns), this band delivers. They remind me alot of Muse with their heavy melodies with impressive vocals. I'm sure its just a matter of time before this band blows up, so I'm really glad i got to see a raw, acoustic version of their songs before it'll cost me $50 a ticket. haha. I found this video of one of the songs i really liked. Check them out, you wont be disappointed.
I've been spending too much money on clothes lately...but I realized not to long ago that i was extremely unsatisfied with my wardrobe...so I'm building a new one! it will probably take me forever to get as many pieces as i have now...but slowly but surely i'll have the super collection I want.

I really like this dress. it would be great for a party, or a regular day out if paired with some leggings. And the print is to die for. I'm really starting to get the hang of shopping at straight sized stores. It takes so much longer to find something, but its worth it because it gives me so many more options.

I love the neckline and the sleeves on this dress. It was the last one in the store...so i was praying i could squeeze my big ass in it...and i did! Its very comfortable and the front pleat is very slimming.

And the embellishment on this dress is so beautiful. The cotton is so comfortable and airy, this dress will be great for spring.

MAC recently released they're Spring Forecast Collections. There are four fabulous collections each based off a color. The colors are PINK, CORAL, PLUM, and AMBER.
I am definitely a make-up junkie. When i was younger i was really into bright eyeshadow and fake lashes. Now I'm really big on lipstick and MAC's new Spring Forecast collections have FAB lipstick colors. I might just have to collect them all. Gradually of course. Lets not spend rent money on lipstick. haha. Here are the lipsticks from all 4 collections.

I felt like being real sophisti-chic today. I saw this dress in store a while back and i had to go back and get it! i like the pattern and the sheer fabric. and the the neckline is super sexy. sorry that some of the pictures aren't clear...i think its time for me to get a new camera!

I FINALLY got my eyebrows done today! *whew* its been too long. Eyebrows can totally transform your face. when my brows are bushy no matter how much i try to do up my face...it just never quite looks up to par.

Daniel is my current obsession. He's huge in his homeland of Australia and has had several amazing songs with Mix Master Mark Ronson. I love this guys voice. he's so passionate....something i think alot of men are missing now a days.
I guess you could call this my business casual. I'm lucky that i can wear jeans to work. I love this shirt. its really air-y and is really sheer without the undershirt i'm wearing. i usually just wear it with just a bra...but i dont think my boss would like it too much.
